In this post we’ll take a look at 100 million + record selling artist Pink. Pink (aka P!nk) is an ESTP.

ESTP, as with other Sensor-Percievers, are sensation seekers. They live in the moment and enjoy life through their 5 senses.

“I was extreme… from skateboarder to hip-hopper to rave child to lead singer of a rock band – I did it all, and all at the same time.”

ESTPs in particular can often be blunt, straight-shooters and ball-busters. This is largely due to their auxiliary function, Introverted Thinking, which judges information based on ‘truth’ or accuracy. This function, in-and-of itself, doesn’t care about tact or social convention – though ESTPs are generally perceptive when it comes to social feedback, due to their primary function, Extraverted Sensing, and can often be good at pushing the boundaries without being oblivious.

“My dad raised me with some good advice: ‘Always tell the truth. Always shoot from the hip. You might not have many friends, but you’ll never have enemies, because people will always know where you’re coming from.'”

Another benefit of having Extraverted Sensing as a primary function is that it usually comes with a natural bodily awareness and strong co-ordination, which you’ll see on display in the video below:
